In February 2012, Foundation Energy on behalf of Fund III acquired certain operated oil and gas properties in Yuma County, Colorado from a large E&P company. Foundation Energy took over full operations on March 1, 2012. The properties include interests in approximately 190 producing wells. The assets also include an extensive gas gathering and compression operation. Investment upside includes 34 PDNP opportunities and 32 PUD drilling locations.
